Dr. Mahlon L. Davis is a licensed N.A.B.N.E. (North American Board of Naturopathic Examiners) certified Physician who received a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine, and a Master of Science in Human Nutrition in Connecticut from the University of Bridgeport. Dr. Davis has also earned a Master of Arts in Writing from the University of Louisiana, a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Massachusetts in Dartmouth, and a Bachelor of Arts from Wake Forest University in Winston Salem, North Carolina. While studying medicine, Dr. Davis' saw patients at Waterbury Hospital Emergency Room, Greenwich Hospital Emergency Room, Park City Hospital Family Care Outpatient facility, Bridgeport Addiction Clinic, Bridgeport Rescue Mission, and the Health Science Center's Naturopathic Clinic at the University of Bridgeport. Dr. Davis has been in private practice since 2002 operating under these names: Brookland Naturopathic Whole Family Natural Medicine in Washington, D.C. , and SouthCoast Naturopathic Medicine in Westport. Prior to attending Medical School, Dr. Davis worked as a paramedical examiner, visiting patients' homes and businesses to complete health and life insurance medical exams. Dr. Davis worked for over 20 years as a phlebotomist at: The New England Memorial Hospital, Winchester Hospital, and the North Monroe Hospital of Louisiana. In addition to seeing patients, Dr. Davis also teaches Chemistry at Durfee High School in Fall River. |
